TB drugs based on CDC programme in hospital, doing cross check laboratory examination at BLK etc.), referal, supervision and evaluation of the programme.
Utilising all of governmental health institution which is already available surely will expand the coverage of CDC programme.
Recording and Reporting, distribution of drugs,delivery of diagnostic material and other managerial aspect should be discussed among all institution.
Kakanwil DepKes and or Kepala Dinas Kesehatan could become a coordinator.
- Private hospital and clinic -such as maternity clinic etc.- can also be ask to participate.
Their level of participation could be discussed, maybe mostly on implementing some of the CDC programme.
At least, the type of collaboration between CDC programme with private practitioner could also be implemented in private hospital & clinic.
- Faculty of Medicine which exist in some province will be one of important asset for the succesfull of the programme. In West Java there is Padjadjaran University, in Central Java there is Sebelas Maret University in Solo and Diponegoro University in Semarang, and in South Sumatera they have Sriwidjaya University. Faculty of Medicine can give their view on scientific aspect of the programme, and can include this CDC programme in their lecture to medical student as well as during continuing medical education activities. Operational research is needed for the CDC programme itself, and it also can be used as a link with University which can give their scientific support for this research. Their staff could be actively participated in these operational research, and also can act as consultantin various aspect.
Professional and private sector are a potential resource for the succesful of CDC programme. They should be a part of the programme, which the degree will be depend on the situation and policy implemented. Collaboration between CDC manager and professional bodies and private sector will give a big impact to succesful of CDC programme.
